Prof. Dr. Christoph Thyssen ist am Institut für Biologie und ihre Didaktik der PH Freiburg aktiv. Aufbauend auf schulischen Lehrerfahrungen liegt sein Forschungsinteresse im Bereich digitaler Medien im MINTUnterricht, insb. beim Experimentieren sowie dem Einsatz von AR und VR. Als Mitinitiator der AG Digitale Basiskompetenzen und Mitglied der AG Digitalität & Biologiedidaktik (FdDB) beschäftigt er sich intensiv mit digitalen Kompetenzen von Studierenden und Lehrkräften.
Prof. Dr. Christoph Thyssen is member of the Institute of Biology and and Biology Educationat the University of Education Freiburg. Based on his teaching experience in schools, his research interests adress the area of digital media in STEM education, especially in experimentation and the combination of reality and virtuality using AR. As co-initiator of the AG Digitale Basiskompetenzen and member of the AG Digitalität und Biologiedidaktik (FdDB) he is intensively engaged in digital competencies of students and teachers.
