Prof. Dr. Sebastian Becker-Genschow war Lehrer für Physik und Mathematik, bevor an der TU Kaiserslautern in der Didaktik der Physik promovierte und dort auch als Post-Doc tätig war. Derzeit hat er die Professur für Digitale Bildung mit Schwerpunkt Künstliche Intelligenz an der Universität zu Köln inne und erforscht insbesondere die Lernwirksamkeit von digital gestützten Lehr-Lernprozessen, Lernprozesse mittels Eyetracking sowie den Einsatz von KI-basierten Technologien in Schule und Universität.
Jun.-Prof. Sebastian Becker-Genschow was a teacher of physics and mathematics before earning his PhD in the didactics of physics at the TU Kaiserslautern, where he also worked as a post-doc. He currently holds the Junior Professorship for Digital Education at the University of Cologne. Here, he researches the learning effectiveness of digitally supported teaching-learning processes in sciences, learning processes using eye tracking, and the use of AI-based technologies in schools and universities.
